WIDOW OF A MASTER WARRANT OFFICER HELPED.

Our Liaison officer Sgt.S.Kanthiah is giving back the Discharge book and the PPO to Smt.Sundari Jayakaran while her brother is keenly listening the advise.

WIDOW OF A MASTER WARRANT OFFICER HELPED.

On our continued visits, we noticed that one widow of MWO

is being paid short pension, at Udangudi.

Her particulars are :

Name: Smt.Sundari jayakaran, W/O Late SN.Jayakaran, Rank: MWO No: 209129

Group- I Rank pensioned: WO

PPO.NO; AF/F/NA/ 327/97

PDA: Canara Bank, Udangudi, Tuticorin-Dist, Tamil Nadu.

While going through the pension papers, we noticed that the deceased Jayakaran was a Group –I, MWO. The eligible family pension for the spouse of WO, Gp-I is 5190 as per Annexure-III of CDA Cir-397. But she is being paid a Basic pension of Rs.4770/- only, which is for the Rank of WO, Group –II.

The discrepancy was immediately reported to the PDA. The Branch Manager was kind enough to accept our findings and agreed to arrange for correction and pay the arrears in this month itself.

Smt.Sundari Jayakaran along with her brother called on us at our office and expressed her sincere thanks for such a voluntary help and informed that but for the intervention of the Trust , she would have not got this correct rate of pension.

Our Trust is happy of the achievement of one more widow pensioner helped
