A HISTORICAL MOMENT –ENCOURAGING NEWS FOR
ALL TYPES OF DISABILITY PENSIONERS
As per the recent CDA cir 429 dated 4-3-2010, the Broad Banding of percentage to INVALIDED disability pensioners of Pre-1996 and their Disability percentage was enhanced to Minimum of 50% with effect from 1-7-2009 and only three rates, 50%, 75% and 100%.
All right thinking people , ESM associations were representing and demanding to extend the Broad banding to other Discharged / released Disability pensioners also. One of our AFTs also has given a Judgment in favour.
Now, our Honorable SUPREME COURT has rendered a judgment to extend the facility of Broad banding to both the Invalided and the other Discharged/ released Disability pensioners also.
It is a very happy news and let us all hope that MOD and the CDA come out with letters and Circulars in this respect early.
