ONE RANK ONE PENSION

While addressing the gathering, the Addl. C.G.D.A.,l has intimated that the long
Awaited OROP orders are expected by the end of December, 2012.
The effective date will be from January, 2013 only and that
The CDA has fully geared up and the table is ready and pensioners will
Be paid by March, 2013.

CONFIRMATION OF CORRECT RATE OF PENSION

On hearing the services of our Trust , one veteran called on us for confirming the rate of his  pension.

PDA: SBI,  Tenkasi, Tirunelveli-Dist.

He has received a   Corr.PPO recently  informing the latest position.
On going through his  latest PPO  and  the pass book entries   , we confirmed  that he is being paid correct Rate of pension.

The veteran was happy and satisfied  and thanked us for helping the veterans.

We are happy that the Pre-2006 retirees have  started receiving  Revised PPO after VI th Pay Commission.

Remembering our help in getting her Additional pension, the aged widow called on us at our office  and offered sweets on the occasion of her 86 th birth day.

Our Trust members were very happy and WISHED  her a Happy Birth day and to score a century to receive 100% additional pension.

The  old lady was immensely pleased with our Greetings and thanked for all the help extended by our welfare Trust.

6th ANNIVERSARY OF EXWEL TRUST



 6TH ANNIVERSARY OF OUR WELFARE TRUST-/
PENSIONERS’AWARENESS MEETING

Our Trust celebrated its VI th Anniversary/ cum Pensioners Awareness meet
 on 23-12-2012 at Hotel Janagiram, Tirunelveli-

More than100 veterans and their families attended the meeting.

Mr.Ln.P.Thirumalai Murugan , President of Human Rights Commission, Tirunelveli and Mr.M.Devaram, Chief Manager (Retd) , Canara Bank were the chief Guests.

Our Managing Trustee Sgt.R.Chellappa  gave a Welcome speech  and the purpose and activities of our Trust in detail.

A Book on “  A Guide to Defence Pensioners”  was released by Mr.Thirumalai Murugan and the first copy was received by Wing Commander P. J.Victor (Retd) .

Five  80yrs and above veterans were honoured  in the function.

3 poor  Children were given scholarship of each Rs.1000/- by Sub.Gunasselaran (Retd) and another 3 children by the Trust.

Our Liaison Officer Sgt.S.Kanthiah  explained in detail about the importance of Endorsement of Family pension, Part II order for Second Marriage/ Child birth.
He also gave a lecture on Family pension Types /rates and Disabilty/ War injury pension with Illustration.

Mr.Thirumalaimurugan, Mr.M.Devaram and Mr.Essakkimuthu spoke high our Trusts and our service to the Ex-Servicemen community and others.

Sgt.C.Muthukrishnan  delivered a lecture on the need for publishing the Book  to create awareness among the pensioners   and requested all to read the book  and know the happensings.

Mr.Bashyam, District Registrar (Retd)  explained in detail about the need for writing WILL and settlement. He also spoke about the obtaining of marriage certificate/ second marriage etc.

Smt.Lakshimi  w/o Late Hav.Ramalingam delivered a brief lecture on Meditation  to tension  which will give us a peace of mind.

The Anniversary was concluded by a Vote of thanks by Sgt.C.Muthukrishanan  and National Anthem.

All were given a Gift of New Year 2013 calendar and a Good shoulder Bag.

Then a tasty Lunch was served to all  .

All the veterans and their families thanked our Trust for the services and Awareness meeting.

SBI PENSIONERS MEET AT PALAYAMKOTTAI BRANCH.



EXWEL TRUST PARTICIPATES IN  SBI PENSIONERS MEET.

State Bank of India , Palayamkottai branch, Tirunelveli-Dist, Tamil Nadu conducted a Pensioners meet on 17-12-2012 on the eve of Pensioners Day.

Our Trust members were invited to Participate and interact with pensioners.

Our Financial Trustee Sgt.C.Muthukrishnan  delivered a lecture on services of SBI towards  the pensioners including some deficiency in service to the pensioners.

Sgt.S.Kanthiah, our Liaison officer spoke about some non-restoration of Commuted value  and revision  as per revised PPOs in time.  The role of PDA even if the CPPC is doing all the process.   He also suggested to provide a Toilet facility to the aged pensioners in the Bank premises.

The Chief Manager, Mr.Vijaya Kumar well appreciated for the suggestion and  agreed to consider the suggestion  and thanked our Trust for the active participation in the meeting. He also solicited our cooperation in the pension matter in future.

Personal Banking Division Manager Smt.Vasanthi emphasized the responsibilities of pensioners.  As the bank is not in a position to educate the advancement in the banking system, she requested the voluntary organizations to take initiative in helping the pensioners in the areas of nomination facility, green channel counter at the Branch, and the need for updating the pass book regularly, and various other facilities.

Special invitees Shri Joshua retired DGM of SBI, Shri Nambi, Regional Secretary, SBI Pensioners Association and Shri Kannan, SBI Pensioner and  former DGS of SBSU  also spoke on the occasion.  The pensioners as whole were satisfied with the services rendered by the Palayamkottai branch and appreciated the efforts taken by the Chief Manager  Shri Vijaya Kumar to improve the services further.

The meeting concluded with National Anthem.
