SBI PENSIONERS MEET AT PALAYAMKOTTAI BRANCH.



EXWEL TRUST PARTICIPATES IN  SBI PENSIONERS MEET.

State Bank of India , Palayamkottai branch, Tirunelveli-Dist, Tamil Nadu conducted a Pensioners meet on 17-12-2012 on the eve of Pensioners Day.

Our Trust members were invited to Participate and interact with pensioners.

Our Financial Trustee Sgt.C.Muthukrishnan  delivered a lecture on services of SBI towards  the pensioners including some deficiency in service to the pensioners.

Sgt.S.Kanthiah, our Liaison officer spoke about some non-restoration of Commuted value  and revision  as per revised PPOs in time.  The role of PDA even if the CPPC is doing all the process.   He also suggested to provide a Toilet facility to the aged pensioners in the Bank premises.

The Chief Manager, Mr.Vijaya Kumar well appreciated for the suggestion and  agreed to consider the suggestion  and thanked our Trust for the active participation in the meeting. He also solicited our cooperation in the pension matter in future.

Personal Banking Division Manager Smt.Vasanthi emphasized the responsibilities of pensioners.  As the bank is not in a position to educate the advancement in the banking system, she requested the voluntary organizations to take initiative in helping the pensioners in the areas of nomination facility, green channel counter at the Branch, and the need for updating the pass book regularly, and various other facilities.

Special invitees Shri Joshua retired DGM of SBI, Shri Nambi, Regional Secretary, SBI Pensioners Association and Shri Kannan, SBI Pensioner and  former DGS of SBSU  also spoke on the occasion.  The pensioners as whole were satisfied with the services rendered by the Palayamkottai branch and appreciated the efforts taken by the Chief Manager  Shri Vijaya Kumar to improve the services further.

The meeting concluded with National Anthem.
