EXWEL TRUST VISITS S.C.H.T. BOYS HOME
AT ANAVARATHANALLUR, TIRUNELVELI DISTRICT.

Society for the Care of Handicapped in Tirunelveli  (S.C.H.T.)  at Anavarathanallur, Tirunelveli District is a Dirrerently abled Boys home.  This home was founded by Dr.Karuna Chelliah, a Medical Doctor turned quadriplegic in a motor bike accident.  At present 70 differently  able boys live in this vast campus.

All are given good education by nearby schools.  They are looked after well.  All the boys welcome occasional visitors to the home with beaming smiles.  All steps are taken to help them in every possible manner to grow into independent normal, healthy adults.

On hearing the news of the good work done by the S.C.H.T. to the differently able boys,  our Exwel Trust team visited the Home on 05.12.2012 Wednesday early morning and offered our prayers for the well being of the inmates and served delicious breakfast to all the inmates of the home.

Now this Home is managed by Mrs.Princess Karuna, wife of (Late) Dr.Karuna Chelliah and six wardens.  There is a good orthopedic clinic linked to this home at No.50 Ambai Road, Kulavanigarpuram, Tirunelveli 627005. Photographs  taken at the home are published above.

If any one wants to help the Home and donate, please contact: Mrs.Princess Karuna, No.50 Ambai Road, Kulavanigarpuram, Tirunelveli 627005. Phone: 04630263240.
