LONG WAITED ORDER ON 7TH PAYCOMMISSION RELEASED.

 

 

The DESW  has released the Resolution on 7th pay commission for defence pensioners on 30-9-2016.

Pension for pre-2016 retirees as on 01.01.2016 = Pension ( OROP as on 31.12.2015 ) *  2.57

Hence multiplication factor of 2.57 will be applied on the OROP figure and not on any other figure including that recommended by the 6th CPC.

OROP has been fixed in 2014 and the next revision is due in 2019. However a court case has been filed on the OROP in the SC. Defence personnel are likely to win the court case. This will lead to yearly revision of the OROP. Thus OROP will be revised based on the data of 2015. This OROP will be multiplied by 2.57, then.

We shall wait for CDA circulars for Chart and other details soon.

    sir,7th cpc notification is released but what about our dl-33 issue?if that is not cleared, how they are going solve the issue?

    The resolution is delayed unnecessarily making men to review of earlier statement of Defence Minister. Now it is clear Finance Minister assurance is kept as correct. I think CPPC of bank will arrange immediate release of revised pension with arrears.

    Sir, a very informative site by you.thanks for this.
    I am ex Sgt M L Sebastian. Date of discharge is 31 Dec 2013. My basic pension currently is rs.8300.total pension is 14525 as on date. Please clarify me the following sir.
    1. What will be my new pension as per 7cpc?
    2. When will we get this new pension?
    3. I did not get anything under orop till date. Am I not eligible for orop?
