VARIOUS CLAUSES OF DISCHARGE

Service personnel are discharged under various clauses. In many cases the description of the clause/cause of discharge is not written, instead these are indicated in certain codes. It is very important that every veteran must know the cause of his discharge from service and confirm the correctness of the entries in the discharge book. Certain pension benefits are also based on this cause of discharge.

Various Clauses of discharge in respect of JCOs/Ors of army are given as under:-

(A) IN RESPECT OF JCOs.
