Our Liaison Officer Sgt.S,Kanthiah is handing over a copy of letter sent to PDA to smt.Esther Samuel at her residence, a remote village.
Smt.Esther Samuel w/o Late Subedar-clk, R,Samuel (JC 16204 ) Group-B, was drawing her Special family pension.
PPO.NO: F/ 856/69 PDA: IOB, Panagudi, Tirunelveli-Dist, Tamil Nadu.
Now the Rate of Spl.FP is revised as per GOI.MOD New Delhi Letter No: 17(4)/ 2008 (1) D( Pen/Policy) Vol-V dated 15-2-2011 and CDA cir 456.
Accordingly, the pension of Smt.Esther Samuel is increased from 7825 to 9540 with effect from 1-1-2006. Also , her additional pension from 1565 to 1908/-and she is will be getting an arrears of one point five lak plus.
This important circular was explained in length and detail to the PDA and their Regional Office.They were convinced with our submission and agreed to revise the pension and pay the arrears as per our calculation in this month itself.
The 85 yrs old Widow was immensely happy to receive such an un-expected arrears at this age and expressed her heart felt gratitude to our Trust and Prayed for a healthy and long life of the Trust members.
