2   Groups are merged.  X   AND   Y

    Only X  / A  / is in the New group  as X

 Other groups like B  ,C  , D  ,E  , F   ,G   ,H    and  Z  are merged in to           One -The new Group is  “  Y  “.

3.       The rate of pension is calculated according to Rank,  Group,  and actual length of service-  No weight age .

4.       Not like earlier calculations,  Now the PDAs are  permitted to revise the pension of veterans for Qualifying service from 6 months on wards.  No need of submitting Annexures/ referring to Record Office  or CDA/ PSA.

5.       Same way for Disability  / War injury   pensioners also, We need not refer to PSA>as Tables are available from  QS from 6 month on wards.

6.       For Family pension of all types – Enhanced,  Normal, Special and Liberalised  family pension  calculated according to Rank, Group and length of service  of the deceased  pensioner.
