  6. Sir
I served in the army for 16 years and retired in jan 1980, now my pension is fixed at Rs 7598 with DA @ 119 percent. I am expecting my first instalment this month. As per RM statement in Nov last year those who come under OROP scheme will not get 7th cpc benefit. I will like to know about this. Further a close relative who worked in the Air Force was discharged with disability pension. Being tech trade he got re-employment in the OFT. When he wanted his AF service to be counted he was advised to surrender entire service element so far drawn which he did and from 1.1.1982 he was erroneously told that he is not eligible for disability pension. On confirmation he contacted PCDA (P) for restoration of disability pension. Now they have sent certified true copy of original PPO to the Treasury Office Trichy. As per rule the same should have been sent to CPPC SBI Chennai but they forwarded to SBI Navalpattu branch who in turn sent to CPPC with another veteran's case now PPO is not traceable. The AF man Mr Arumugam aged 73 suffering from ailments physically very weak and his case is pending. Being an ex serviceman and relation I write letters visited CDA (P), Treasury and even CPPC but I couldn't get the restoration of disability pension. I seek your esteemed help to this man for what should I do to get help from you. I am also at 72 if you agree I am ready to meet you in person with correspondence. Kindly guide me.My mobile no 9442274041 email is rajamanickam1944@gmail.com.

  7. I retired from the Indian Navy with 15 years service in the Rank of Chief Artificer, but pensioned in the lower Rank of Artificer II due to 10 month rule. However as per CDA Circular 397/547/551 etc, am I entitled to pension in the retired Rank of Chief Artificer, and if so, how to go about it?
