The Widow of JWO, Smt.JC.Vinayagam is happily expressing her gratitude to our
Chief Admin Officer Hony.Flt.Lt MP. Natarajan and Chief Liaison Officer Sgt.Kanthiah

ONE WIDOW OF A JUNIOR WARRANT OFFICER HELPED

Junior Warrant officer Jagatheesa Chandran expired on 6-8-2008.

His particulars :

Rank: JWO Ser.No: 230752 Gp-IV PPO.NO :08/14/B/1237/87

Date of Discharge : 1-4-1987

Date of death: 6-8-2008

PDA: I.O.B Vickramasingapuram, Tirunelveli-Dist, Tamil Nadu

His wife Smt. JC.Vinayagam approached us to help in getting her family pension which was not commenced . We , immediately contacted the branch Manager and appraised the situation and explained the procedure to switch over to the Family pension. He was kind enough to hear us and promised to disburse the family pension soon, on receipt of death certificate and other formalities..

Now, Smt. JC.Vinayagam called on us to day and expressed her gratitude to the Trust members for getting her pension credited on 29-9-2010 with arrears.

Our Trust is very happy that the Widow got her pension early .

  1. Kindly clarify the FP of a Flt Sergeant who retired after 3 months service as A/WO/P in 1969/70. Does his widow get FP of Sergeant OR that of a JWO?

  2. dear sir, what is the rate mentioned in the original PPO to be taken for Family pension. I think it is Sgt.pension. There is no change for family pensioners. If the deceased was drawing JWO pension, then the spouse is eligible for JWO 0' Family pension rate.
