UPDATING PARTICULARS IN BANK'S RECORD

ONE TIME MEASURE FOR UPDATING PARTICULARS.

We understand that still many Pensioners / Family pensioners have not got their pension Revised and arrears as per CDA circulars    547,548,549,555 and 560.

Pensioners are complaining and blaming the banks in general.

On interactions with Bank Officials, we came to know that due to non-availability of particulars like Rank, Group, Qualifying service , and Date of Birth, the revision could not be done.

Particularly, for family pensioners.  In most of the cases, where  separate PPOs issued to Families, where only Rank and Name is available.  Like Seetha W/O  Late  Sep.Rama  only mentioned.

With this incomplete details, the banks are not able to proceed.

On inquiry , we understand that banks have raised THE Annexures for want of particulars, but no response from CDA, hence no progress.

Banks have called for the particulars from pensioners but not encouraging response from pensioners also.

The ultimate sufferers are the pensioners.

Many of the widows of  say Havildars/ Subedars/ Officers are getting the minimum pension of Rs.3500/-only  due to in-sufficient DATAs,

We have guided and helped many such widows by getting their particulars from Discharge Book, PPO and other related documents.

Now here is a Golden opportunity  to update the details

When we submit the LIFE CERTIFICATE  in the month of

November,  we go to Bank with all the documents like Discharge Book, PPO and any other documents and furnish the Particulars

In the Life certificate Itself  so that the bank Officials may update

In their Records. Format of Life certificate –CDA cir 183.

All ESM Assns and Organisations and veteran brothers,  are requested to guide and help the veterans and widows to go to Banks with all

Available papers when submitting  the Life Certificate..
