STOPPAGE OF FIXED MEDICAL ALLOWANCE

Dear veteran brothers,We. The Exwel Trust, Tirunelveli  is  constrained to publish the following happenings for the benefit of our Veterans  community..

We all know that a  Certificate of stoppage of FMA from Bank is one of the Mandatory documents for joining Our ECHS.

ECHS started from 1-4-2004 and it is about 12 yrs passed.

It is noted with regret that still some of Banks are continue paying the FMA in spite of the certificate issued by themselves.

The Ex-Servicemen are not aware whether the FMA is stopped or not.

They have the notion that the Bank has given the certificate and might have stopped.

Large number of ESMs do not demand for pension slip OR go through the SMS sent by Banks.  It is their blind belief  and ignorance.

Many veterans/ families do not know how to read the SMS in their Mobile wherein the details of pension like Basic pension, DA and FMA and commuted amount will be notified..

During our interactions, verification of documents with the visiting veterans to our Trust , we observed that  Still many of our veterans, ECHS members  are being paid FMA .

We are informing the ILL effects of this, like refusal for Treatment at critical time  and compelling them to Reimburse the Paid huge amount before going for Surgery/ Major treatment.

Though  it is the mistake of Banks of non adherence of their commitment ,it is our Duty also to confirm non receipt of FMA.

We are informing and guiding our veterans  to intimate to the PDAs immediately to Stop the FMA  and recover the paid amount in installments.

Dear veteran brothers , and families please check up that  you as a Member of ECHS , are  not being paid FMA  along with your pension.and pass on this messages to other

ECHS members also when ever you visit our Clinic , a casual talk and query. 

This will help to some extend. .
