VETERAN ANNA HAZARE SUPPORTS THE OROP


Anna Hazare jumps in support of OROP scheme, says it's a 'fair demand'

New Delhi: Social activist Anna Hazare on Tuesday came out in support of the long-pending 'One Rank One Pension' (OROP) scheme, saying it is a "fair demand".
The development came even as a group of ex-servicemen met BJP President Amit Shah last night in New Delhi to discuss the OROP issue.
Lt Gen Raj Kadyan (Retd), who led the five-member delegation, said that Shah has assured them that a decision will be taken soon.
