It came to our
knowledge that one widow of a Subedar is
getting less pension.
Immediately our Admin and
Liaison Officers visited the Residence of the Widow.
The innocent and bed
ridden widow was taken by surprise of our Visit.
On interaction and going through the available documents like PPO, discharge BOOK and bank
pass book we noticed that her pension
was not revised correctly as per CDA circular 502.

PDA: Canara bank,
Tirunelveli-Dist.
She is being paid a Basic
pension ofr Rs.6168 instead of Rs.7182 from 24-9-2012.
We contacted the PDA and informed
about the incorrect adoption of basic pension. The Manager was kind enough to
hear our complaint and agreed to correct the discrepancy soon.
The 86 yrs old widow was very
happywith our action and sincerely thanked us for this timely help.
