The below mentioned aggrieved veteran called on us with a
latest Corrigendum PPO.

He was receiving a
Basic pension of rs.4762 as per CDA cir 501 so far.
Now as per the Project Sangam scheme , his pension is reduced to Rs.3500 and the
Bank has immediately reduced the rate of pension and instructed the veteran to
refund Rs, one lac plus as excess amount
paid.
We have already represented such cases to PCDA and to
Record offices and our ESM organizations. There is no response from CDA.
The Bankers are not going through the CDA cir 163 and effecting the recoveries.
We have
written to CPPC, SBI Chennai not to effect the recovery as per cir 163.
The worried veteran was happy with our action .
All ESM organizations are requested to express our protest to CDA regarding these
ERRONEOUS PPOs. They have to check the existing rate of
pension before releasing the revised rate and find out the reason for
variation.
