Disability : 30%.
On going through his available papers, we noticed that he was INVALIDED OUT-hence eligible for a
Broad banding of Disability Element to min 50%. as per CDA cir 429. We prepared
the required Annexure –and guided him to forwarded to PSA through his Record
Office.
He is also eligible for BB with effect from 1-1-1996 as he is of Pre-1996 retiree.
. The
veteran was happy of our findings and guidance.
Our Trust is also happy in helping a FROZE BITTEN veteran.

Yes. If your cause of discharge was- Invalided out then you are also eligible for Broad Banding of disability Elelement with effect from 1-7-2009 for post 1996 retirees and for Pre-1996 retireees the effective date is from 1-1-1996.
