Col.Munundra Nath Rai was Decorated with
YUDH SEVA MEDAL on Republic Day
.
As ill luck would
have it, in the very next day, he was killed in an Anti Terror Operation
in J & K .
His body was cremated with
full Military Honour . The Army Chief paid Homage to the martyr.
It is note worthy to state that his other TWO brothers also serving in Armed forces.
1. Elder brother Y.N .RAI is serving as the Commanding Officer in CRPF'
2. Next brother D.N. RAI is a Lieutenant Colonel in Indian Army.
Also his father is a Retired Principal of a Government School in Gazipur.
It is note worthy to state that his other TWO brothers also serving in Armed forces.

The absence of Politicians
in the funeral of a BRAVE SOLDIER was very much noticed by the public and it is very much regrettable.
