ONE PRE-1973 RETIREE- AN OCTOGENARIAN HELPED.

             

 The 85 yrs old Veteran P.Nambi  with our Liaison Officer Sgt.S.Kanthiah 

During our recent interactions , we came to know that the below named Octogenarian ,  a Pre-1973 retiree  was not getting his Service Element because of Disability element fell below 20% on Re-assessment/ medical.

Name: P.Nambi     Rank: SigMan.   Reg.No.6255364.

PPO.No: D / 6393/1964     Age: 85 yrs.

PDA; Canara bank, Tuticorin-Dist.

His was sanctioned with 20%  Disability element and on Re-Assessment, it was reduced to less than 20%, hence disability  discontinued.

Now as per CDA cir 527, such Pre-1973 pensioners are eligible for pension.

We have now prepared the applicable Annexure in Triplicate and guided him to sent the same to his record Office through his PDA.

The aged veteran was very much happy of our action and thanked us for this timely help.

Our Trust is very happy in helping an Octogenarian .
