Improvement /
Enhancement in pension for Pensioners
and Family pensioners is announced as per CDA circulars 501, 502 and 503 with
effect from 24-9-2012.
For revising the existing
rate of pension the following THREE particulars are essential:
Rank, Group,
Qualifying service .
These particulars are
available in the Discharge certificate / PPO( computer sheet) for post 1986
retirees. For Pre-1986 retirees and family pensioners , the particulars may be /
may not be available in the Discharge certificate / Service particulars issued
by RO/ CDA.
Now , we understand from
many Banks, that these three particulars
are not readily available for all , particularly for Family pensioners. They
have to write to CDA / RO to get the particulars which may take a very long
time.
In view of the above, we
request all our ESM organizations/ veterans to help the Bankers/ pensioners by going through the Discharge certificate/
PPO and get the Three particulars and instruct the Pensioners/ Family
pensioners to submit Xerox copies to
their respective Bank branches for early
revision.
In the absence of the
Particulars the Revision process will
take a long time leading to
complains and grievances.
Hope our appeal will be
taken in the right spirit to help the pensioners .
