YET ANOTHER 90YRS OLD WIDOW- SPECIAL FAMILY PENSIONER HELPED AT HER DOOR STEP.
On our persistent
efforts and intensive drive with regard
to pension anomalies, we came to know
that one 90 yrs old widow was being paid Ordinary family pension instead of
Special Family Pension:.

Date of birth-
01-01-1923. 90 yrs old EligiBle for 40% Additional pension.
PDA: Canra bank,
Srivilliputtur, Virudhunagar –Dist, Tamil Nadu.
She is being paid a basic
pension of rs.3500/ instead of 7000/
Our Chief Admin and
Liaison officers made a visit to the remote village- Malliputhur, near Srivilliputtur , about 75 kilometers
from our Trust to meet the old lady in person.
The innocent poor widow
was delighted on our visit and was very much pleased to see, hear and chat with us. We explained the purpose of
our visit to her .She expressed her sincere gratitude for the visit and such a valuable help.
On scrutinizing the available pension papers and Bank pass book we confirmed that she has been paid ordinary family pension only. We assured her to take up the issue with the Bank, their HO as well us with Record office to get her the pension revised and the arrears amounting to few lacs paid very soon.

It was heartening to hear
with pain , that 3 out of her 4 daughters are widows.
Two are residing
with her and looking after her.
We explained in detail
about the eligibility of pension for widow daughters after her demise. We could see tears from her eye s on hearing
this information’s.
Our Team came back with
full satisfaction of our trip .
