about our services, one widow called on us for a help in getting her family
pension.

She explained the problems
of not getting pension after the demise of her husband even after 8 months..
On scrutinizing the
available papers with her, we noticed
that he(pensioner) was a Pre-1985 retiree. There
was no Joint Notification available .
The widow is also not aware whether the application for Endorsement of
Family pension was sent by her husband or not.
Now, we guided her by
sending a Requisition letter to the Naval Record office- CABS, Mumbai for clarification whether the Joint Notification was done or
not.
The innocent widow was satisfied with our efforts and thanked us
for such a help.
