FOR PRE-2006 PENSIONERS-
As per VIth Pay commission,
the Rate of Minimum pension- shall not be less than 50% of Pay in the Pay band plus Grade pay and
MSP and X Group pay.
Irrespective of the length of
service but not less than pensionable
service.
For JCOs and ORs 15 yrs
and For Commissioned officers and NCEs
20 yrs.
But it was not followed and
pension was calculated on PRORATA basis,
That is the Maximum service
was taken as 33 yrs and reduced the rate according to the length of actual
service of pensioners..
After a great struggles, Litigation, the Government / DOPT has
now issued Office Memorandum OM No: 38/37/08-P&PW(A) , GOI, Dept. of P
& PW , New Delhi dated 06-04-2016
for revision of pension of all Pre-2006 pensioners at 50%
with effect from 1-1-2006and pay the arrears.
Veterans are to wait for a separate
order for Defence in this regard from
MOD and DESW. .
Dear sir, I have viewed many blog. Motherlyhood service whether for veteran or for orphan you are at helm second to none. Sorry to say second gets inferior to first,your service teaches all are equal in the society and also you have theme EVERY JEEVAN IN THE WORLD HAVE RIGHTFULL ENTITLEMENT TO ENJOY THIS WORLD. DeletePlease tell me how one will be liable to get as you have mentioned here .Secondly where it is said in the accepted gazette notification like this.I request you only for my doubt
The PCDA (P) Circular C149 dated 08-04-2016 gives detailed instructions on the subject.

ReplyDeleteI am an Ex-Recruit boarded out on 08.12.1981 with Cat-EEE having 7 months and 24 days service. May my pension that is service element be revised or not? A line of clarification answer may be communicated.
I am an ex-recruit boarded out on 08.12.1981 with Cat-EEE having 7 month & 24 days of Army service. May I be applicable for revision of pre-2006 pension. As per VI commission my pension is Rs.3,500/- + DA from time to time. OROP will be implemented very soon and the pension will be fixed @Rs.5,152/- with usual DA from time to time.
