102-yr-old World War II veteran wins many a heart with his zeal for life

With his zeal and liveliness, 102-year-old Naseeb Singh Gill won hearts at a function to mark World Heart Day at Fortis Hospital here today.
A World War II veteran, Naseeb Singh, along with eight octogenarians, attended the event as ‘heart ambassadors’ to encourage and inspire heart patients to live life king size even if they are fighting a disease.


 Other elderly participants, including Dayapal (85), GP Kapil (84), Kulbir Singh Bhatia (83), SP Soni, Kailashwati, SPS Virk and OK Sharma (all 81) and Tarsem Raj Monga (80), shared their experiences post heart diseases and their mantras of enjoying life.
