A peaceful PROTEST RALLY   was organized  by Tirunelveli-Exservicemen Association  on

 14-6-2015 at Palayamkottai- Jawahar Maidan from 10AM to 12AM..

Organisations –Exwel trust, ESM associations from Sankarankovil, Vannikonandal, Tenkasi, Kadayanallur  VK Puram, Puliangudi, Kalkadu  joined the protest rally..

About 200 members including about 20 widows attended the Hartal and shouted slogans for immediate implementation of OROP.

This was the first such  Protest Rally by Ex-servicemen in Tirunelveli-Dist.Tamil Nadu.

The President and Secretaries of different Associations delivered lecture on the UNDUE- DELAY  in implementation of OROP by the present Government  and expressed their deep Anguishment over  this issue by shouting slogans..

It was also decided to hold a Great- Protest March  past in En-Mass to  Office  of District Collector soon and submit a Memorandum  expressing  the step- motherly treatment of Central and State Government  towards Ex-Servicemen community.
