One widow of a Subedar
called on us and reported that her pension was not revised.
Name: Smt.Valliammal W/O Late Sankara Murthi Rank: Subedar Group- B QS; 28yrs.
PDA: I.O.B branch, Tirunelveli-Dist.
On going through the pass
book entries, it was noticed that she was being paid a basic pension of
Rs.4770/-only . It was not revised as per CDA cir 502.
We contacted the Branch
and their CPPC at Chennai about the non Revision. They told that the particulars like Group and length of service is not
available, hence not revised.
We obtained the documents
from the pensioner , copy of Discharge book and PPO with all the required
particulars and sent it to CPPC, Chennai.
They were kind enough to inform us that they will revise the pension in this month
itself.
The Widow and her mother expressed their sincere thanks to
our Trust for this help.
Dear veteran brothers,
please help the widows in your areas by
providing the Rank, Group and the length of service to the PDA for revision
particularly where the PPO bears No: F/NA/
