One widow of a Sepoy
called on our Trust office and informed that she is not getting pension after
the death of her husband.

On going through the
available documents , we noticed that
there is no Joint Notification , hence no pension.
We explained the absence of
Joint Notification to the widow. We made
an application giving all the required particulars
and sent it to MEG Record Office for joint notification and sanctioning of pension.
The innocent widow was
happy and thanked us for the action taken by the Trust.
