One Veteran A.
Natarajan came to our Trust office and complained
that he is getting less pension.
Rank: Hony.Nb.Sub Qly.Service: 22 yrs Group- B.
PDA: Canara Bank,
Tirunelveli Dist.Branch.
On verifying the available
documents, we noticed that he was discharged in the Rank of Havildar and was
awarded with Hony.Nb.Sub Rank at a later date.
The Bank was paying pension for the Rank of Havildar.
Immediately we contacted
the PDA and their CPPC and explained the
discrepancy in detail. The bank officials were kind enough to hear us and assured to revise the pension for the
Rank of Hony.Nb.Sub in this month itself.
The aggrieved veteran was
very much satisfied with our action and expressed his gratitude for the timely
help.
