YET ANOTHER HAVILDAR HELPED

                              

           The happy veteran K.Janaki Raman with our Liaison Officer Sgt.S.Kanthiah.

 Veteran K.Janaki Raman called on our Trust office with a discrepancy , that his friend of same Rank and Group and QS is getting more pension than him.

Name: K.Janaki Raman              Rank: Havildar   Group-Y     Qly.Service: 19.5 yrs.

PPO.No; S/062522/1998      PDA: IOB, Tirunelveli-Dist 

On going through his PPO and Bank pass book, we noticed that he was sanctioned pension for 19.5 yrs of service as per Original PPO  and was being paid correct rate of pension till 24-9-2012.

During the revision  as per CDA cir 501, the Bank has revised his pension for 19 yrs of Qly.service only.

Immediately  we contacted the PDA and informed the discrepancy. The Manager was kind enough to hear us and requested us to represent the case  as the revision is done at their CPPC, Chennai.

We have  written to  IOB, CPPC Chennai  about the discrepancy  along with the PPO and the circular Tables for immediate correction.

The veteran was very much satisfied of our instant action and thanked us for such a help.
