ONE MORE WIDOW HELPED IN GETTING HER FIRST PENSION.

Smt.R.Pakiyam expressing her sincere thanks to our Liaison Officer Sgt.S.kanthiah.

ONE MORE WIDOW PENSIONER HELPED IN GETTING HER FIRST PENSION

On hearing the services of our Trust one Widow called on us and requested to help her in getting her Family pension.

Name: smt.R.Pakiyam   W/O late Hav.Ramasamy – 13671055 L      Date of death -25-9-2011
PPO.No: S/ 030622/1996.
PDA:  Canara bank, Shenkottai, Tirunelveli-Dist, Tamil Nadu.

On  verifying the PPO and interaction with the Widow , we came to know that she had intimated the death of her husband and submitted the death certificate and application for switching over to family pension on 8-12-2011 itself.  So far the widow is not being paid pension.

We also confirmed that the Joint Notification is already existing in favour of Smt.Pakiyam.
In spite of repeated visits and enquiries the PDA was replying that the pension has to come from their CPPC, Bangalre.
Immediately, we have reported the non-payment of Family pension to the widow to CPPC, Bangalore and Circle Office, Madurai  and the abnormal delay in switching over to family pension , thus making the widow to run pillar to post to get her entitled pension.

The innocent poor widow was very happy  and thanked us our immediate action and she also regretted for not approaching us early.
