ONE MORE 80 YRS AND ABOVE PENSIONER HELPED, THE 27 TH ONE.

       

      Our Liaison Officer Sgt.S.Kanthiah is giving a copy of letter addressed to PDA to veteran P.Nambi

During our interactions with veterans in the recent pension Mela, we noticed that one ESM had completed 80 yrs of age.

His full particulars :

Name: P.Nambi Reg.No: 6255364 Rank: Sep RO: Signals

Date of birth: 20-10-1929 PPO.No: S/ 6393/64

PDA: Canara Bank, Srivaikuntam Turticorin-Dist, TN.

As per his discharge certificate, he had completed 80 yrs of age on 20-10-2009 and became eligible for an additional pension of 20%.

The fact was reported to the PDA , and the Manager was kind enough to accept our findings and promised to effect the Additional pension in this month itself.

The aged veteran was very happy and thanked us for the timely help by our Welfare Trust.
