IDENTIFICATION OF SPARSH PPO NUMBER

 

            IDENTIFICATION OF   SPARSH  PPO NUMBER 

            We know that  the Digital  Identification of  PPO number was allotted to  all the three forces.   It contained  16 digits -  12 digits for PPO and last  suffix for type of pension.     

For example: Ordinary family pension:   1 53 2022 00021-3000

Here, No.1 is for Army    No.53 is for RO code-   2022 year of sanction/ discharge

And 00021 is the running serial number of PPO.

  3000 is the type of pension   OFP.

 

Now, we understand that  SPARSH  PPO has  to be identified as   follows:

First 3 digits for  Category   Officer/ PBOR  and next 4 digits for year of discharge and  last 5 digits- running  serial number of PPO.

Example:

For  Army  ;  Officers  SPARSH    ..101 2021 00168   i.e   101 means   Army Officer

        EPPO.   Was…………………. 131 2021 00219 

 

PBOR…SPARSH       ….201 2019 01560      i.e  201 and above –Army PBOR

EPPO  was………………… …  1 85 2019 00538

 

For  NAVY   :        

          Officers: SPARSH……………   301   2019  00501   i.e  301  for Naval Officers
