INCOME TAX EXEMPTION FOR
DISABILITY PENSIONERS.-DEFENCE
PERSONNEL.
There was IT exemption
for all the Disability
pensioners on Service element and
Disability Element as per
Central Board of
Direct Taxes F.No: 200/51/99-ITA-1
dated
06-05-200 and 02-07-2001
and Circular No. 95 dt
04-09-2001.
Now, it has been
decided by Government that this
exemption is available to INVALIDED
OUT CASES only.
Not for Discharge /
Release or Superannuation cases.
We request our veteran
brothers to pass on this information to
others, particularly to affected
veterans.
