PERIOD OF ENHANCED RATE OF FAMILY
PENSION – 65/67 YRS
There was an order /
instructions for payment of Enhanced Rate of family pension up to 65 yrs of age
of pensioner or 7 yrs from the date of death, which ever falls earlier
.After
1999, the period was extended to 67 yrs
or 7 yrs for the date of death
for those who were discharged after 30-5-1998
as per MOD letter dt.18-3-1999.
Now
it is decided by MOD that the 67 yrs of
age or 7 yrs from the date of death is extended to all whether Pre/ Post 1999
retirees.
For any widows, ERFP was stopped at the age of 65 yrs of pensioner, that can be reviewed and arrears for 2
yrs can be paid as per CDA circular 630.
Our
veteran brothers are requested to help such affected widows in their areas, which will be a great service.
