UNFORTUNATE HAPPENING AT ECHS POLY CLINIC,
TIRUNELVELI.
The below mentioned
veteran was discharged on 01-03-2019,
Name: Michael
Yagappan Rank: Subedar Regt.No: JC 700096A
PPO.N: 185201900236-0100.
An amount of Rs.67000 was
deducted towards ECHS contribution as per PPO.
He had applied for ECHS
smart card ON LINE.
He has received the
temporary Slip .
He presented the same
to O I/C Poly Clinic and wanted to avail
treatment,
O I/c , on verification,
noticed that there is a difference in DOB of his wife in PPO and Discharge book. Due to this he, refused veteran to avail treatment.
There was no observation
from Record Office and Temporary slip was generated.
The veteran has a Chest
problem and wanted immediate check up
but refused .
The veteran wanted check
up for himself only and not for his wife
.
This is highly
objectionable on a humanitarian ground.
The matter is reported to AMC Record office and MD ECHS
for this unhealthy action of our
Officer In Charge.
