ESTABLISHMENT OF CENTRAL PENSION DISBUSING AUTHORITY. ( CPDA )

There is going to be a change in Defence pension disbursement system  very soon.

The functions of Bank’s CPPC  will be taken over by CGDA  under the name of CPDA.

The functions like Fresh pensions, revision, addition, deletion  etc. will be done by this  new CPDA directly .   Pension will be credited  to pensioners  Bank account  from CPDA every month.

For this , they have selected about 166 DAD Service centers through out the county.

In Tamil Nadu, about 10 places  for about 85880 Defence  pensioners / Family pensioners.

Chennai,  Vellore, Arakkonam, Tambaram, Kancheepuram,  Tiruvallur, Coimbatore, Nilgris, Trichy, & Tirunelveli  will be the DAD centres.

As per available datas, the number of pensioners , Centre wise:
