A combined  ECHS  SEMINAR  for Tirunelveli and Tuticorin  Poly Clinic was held  at ECHS  Poly Clinic , Tirunelveli on 28-09-2019.

About 100 ECHS members from both the District attended. It was Lively gathering.

Officials from Regional Centre Trivandrum  and INS Kattabomman were present in the Seminar.

Col.Ramasubramaniam,  Col. Yamuna  and Capt. Ayusha  and Surg.Lt.Nihil from INS.Kattabomman  were the Guests.

Our O I/C Poly clinic, Gp.Capt.Jeson ( Retd)  gave a welcome address .

O I/C  Poly Clinic Tuticorin  Wg.Cdr. Rajagopal(Retd)   also was present .

The interaction with members  started.  Many members expressed the views on the function of Poly Clinics, supply of medicines  , ECHS Smart cards and difficulties faced in getting the cards etc.

Col.Ramasubramaniam  and the Naval Surg.Lt. Nihil  answered  to the members on panel  discussion on treatment  .

O I/cs  of  both  Poly clinics  also replied to the members.

Col.Yamuna gave lecture of Medicine management in detail –demand  and supply,  shortage and Local purchase.

Capt. Aiyusha  gave lecture on Preventive  Health with Power point presentation.

Asst.Director, ESM Welfare, Tirunelveli Dist,  Mr.Murugan  gave information's regarding facilities available from KSB.

Our Trust members submitted few points and suggestions   for consideration.

The visiting Officials , appreciating our valuable points, assured us to put forward the suggestions to MD, ECHS, New Delhi .

The Seminar concluded with a vote of thanks by our O I/c  Poly clinic..

YET ANOTHER WIDOWED DAUGHTER HELPED

  SMT. SAROJINI  - D/O LATE .SUB.MAJ. MANONMANI THOMAS(Retd)

The below mentioned Lady has approached us for a help in getting her family pension after the demise of her both the parents.

Name: Smt.Sarojini   W- D/O  late : Manonmani Thomas  

Rank: Sub.Major ( JC-3568 )   RO; EME   Died on 6-8-1994.

There after his wife was drawing pension.  She also died on 02-06-2019.

Their daughter Smt.Sarojini, a widow from 6-7-2010  was dependant  on her mother.

She is now eligible for family pension.

We have now prepared claim application , giving all the required particulars and sent it to  EME Record Office  for further proceedings.

The Lady was very happy with or action and thanked us for this valuable help,

NEW SYSTEM OF PENSION PAYMENT- CPDA STARTED FUNCTIONING.

NEW  SYSTEM OF PENSION PAYMENT    - CPDA HAS STARTED 

FUNCTIONING

                        CENTRALISED PENSION DISBURSING AUTHORITY.

There was a notification  from CGDA  vide their letter dated 22-8-2019

.

By this system, there will be NO CPPC.  

At present, Pension Sanctioning Authority ( PCDA (P) )  will send the pension papers to CPDA-Allahabad  instead of CPPCs . Later on to many other Service centers  like DPDO/  Pension Call Centers etc.  May be some Banks also .

We have to wait and see.

 Pension Sanctioning Authority will send the Pension related papers to CPDA  and Pension papers will be processed by CPDA and credit will be given to pensioners bank account.  Pensioner will be provided with a copy of PPO.

Pension will be directly credited to pensioners Bank account.

CPPC has no role to play.   The pensioners account will be like any other customers account . .

Only difference is, the credit will be from CPDA, Allahabad , electronically.

 No delay in implementing any Government orders/ Circulars .

The interpretation of orders/ circulars will be uniform.

The credit will be in a same day throughout the country unlike Banks in different dates.

There will be SERVICE CENTRES in many places for any queries/ complaints and  ,grievances.  

We can not lodge  any  complaint  to Banks towards  pension related matters.

One of our Veteran is issued with the PPO with  the  PDA station  as = CPDA Allahabad.  And no CPPC.     Only pension drawing Bank and Account number is available..

We are enclosing a copy of PPO  for  your information.

Let us be ready for accepting the new environment.
