PENSIONERS AWARENESS MEETING
AT SRIVILLIPUTTUR
, TAMIL NADU.
An awareness meeting of Ex-Servicemen was
held at Srivilliputtur, Virudhunagar –Dist of Tamil Nadu on Sunday, the
13-12-2015.About 400 Esm and widows attended the meeting.
Brigadier CS.Vidyasagar(Retd)
accompanied by Cmde. Sudik Parkalla Were the chief guests.
Col.Arasu and Col.Navaneetha Krishanan were
among the organizers.
Brig. Vidyasagar explained
with Power Point Slides about various heads regarding pension- Service/Disability/War Injury
/Ordinary /Special and Liberalised family pensionand ECHS . He explained with examples
and calculations, which was very much impressive and easy to understand.
He also explained the main features of 7th
Pay commission - Plus and Minus points in brief.
He informed with regret that many widow
pensioners are being paid short pension as they are not aware of their
entitlement.
He advised the veterans to help such
innocent widows in their areas to get their correct Rate of
family pension.
He informed the Gathering that there
are deficiencies in the cir 547 and 549 regarding pre-2006 arrears
payment and taken up the issue with Dept.of ESM Welfare .
The veterans and widows were happy and
satisfied with the meeting and thanked the Touring senior veteran
Officers.
The meeting concluded with a Vote of thanks
by Nb.Sub.Shanmugam and National
Anthem.,
Veterans are keenly listening to the lectures of Brigadier.
