We understand from the
latest PPO, that he wsa sanctioned DCRG for 22 yrs of service only.
As per the recent MOD
letter No: 17(40)/2008/D (Pen/Pol) Vol-VII dt.4-10-2010, a weight age of 5 yrs is added to all the post
2006 retirees for calculation of DCRG, hence this HAVILDAR is also eligible for
revised DCRG for 22+5yrs
We have now taken up the issue with his
Record office, MEG Bangalore for doing the needful to effect the new
instructions.
The Veteran was immensely
happy of our efforts in solving the problems of veterans and expressed his
sincere thanks to our Trust..
