On verifying the PPO and
the pass book, we noticed that he was sanctioned pension for 19.5 yrs only
instead of 20Yrs.
On interaction with the
pensioner, we understand that there was no adverse report or AWL, hence he is eligible for pension for 20yrs.of Qly.service.
We guided him to represent the discrepancy to the newly
formed – Directorate of Air Veterans, New Delhi .
The aggrieved Sergeant was
very much satisfied with our advise and thanked us for the timely guidance.
