Our Liaison Officer Sgt.S.kanthiah , explaining the eligibilty of additional pension to veteran V.Esakkimuthu.
During our pension mela, we came to know that the below mentioned veteran has completed 80 yrs of age.

PPO.No: D/003477/ 19970 AND DE/CORR/ 040518/2010
PDA: I.O.B. Dhonavur, Tirunelveli-Dist. Tamil Nadu.
As he has completed 80 yrs of age, he is eligible for an additional pension of 20%
from 1-9-2011. As he is a disability pensioner, Disability element is also added to the Basic pension for calculation of Additional pension. The veteran was not aware of this benefit.
We have informed the facts to the PDA as well as their CPPC, HO at Chennai for early revision.
The Octogenarian was very happy and expressed his heartfelt thanks to all the Trust members for such a help
Dear veteran brothers, please note that the Disability element is also eligible for additional pension. i.e BP plus DE. Kindly help the eligible pensioners in your area.
