One Ex-Gratia pensioner Sep.Nagappan called on us and enquired about the Non-Revision of his pension as per the VI th pay commission.
We informed him that there is no revision for this category till date. His particulars are :

Total Service : 15 yrs Record Office : Arty , Nasik road Opted for Lump sum payment,
Hence Ex-Gratia payment.

PDA: Indian Overseas Bank, Ambasamudram, Tirunelveli-Dist, Tamil Nadu.
On going through his pass book entries , we noticed that he was being paid less pension ,that is Rs.930 as on 28-8-2010 which is in correct. The correct DA rate was not paid.
We reported this discrepancy to IOB,Head Office , Chennai and now the correct rate of DA and the correct pension is paid as under :

Dp ……………………. 300.00
900.00
DA at 103 %........ . 927.00
Total………………… 1827.00
The aged pensioner Nagappan came to our office and expressed his gratitude for the help extended by our Trust.
