Veteran V.Lakshmanan was receiving 30% of disability pension. He was not aware of theCDA cir for broad-banding ‘
His particulars are:
Name: Veerabahu Lakshmanan Rank: Hav No: 1347494 P
Record Office- MEG PPO. No.DE/ CORR/040202/2010
Existing Disability; 30% To be revised as 50%
PDA : Canara Bank, Palayamkottai, Tirunelveli-Dist, Tamil Nadu.
We prepared the required Annexure and send to MEG records. Now the revised PPO is received from MEG as Disability element as 50% with effect from 1-7-2009.
The happy Hav.V.Lakshmanan called on us and expressed his gratitude for such a help by our Trust.
Our Trust is very happy in helping one more Disability pensioner.
Was Hav Laksmanan "Boarded out" or "Invalided out". It seems he was a case War Injury (WIE). Surely he could NOT have been a normal case of one superannuated & entitled to Disability Pension attributable/ aggravated by service. I am interested in knowing WHEN BB is being allowed for such cases for pre 2006 pensioners
