'ALAS' FATE OF EX-GRATIA PENSIONERS.

The VI th Pay commission has totally forgotten the Ex-Gratia pensioners.
Their meager pension of 600+300 +DA is not revised so far.

Now,few of them have completed 80 years of age and the Additional pension
as per the VIth Pay commission is also denied to them.

It is a pitiable situation for this category of pensioners for no fault of them.

Even the meagre amount of pension is not correctly paid by many bank branches.The latest DA rate is not revised as per GOI letter.F.No.42/18/2010-P & PW (G) dated 27-10-2010 w.e.f 1-7-2010. DA rate for Pensioner..103% and for Widows 95 %
The correct pension from 1-7-2010 will be as follows:
For Pensioners
Basic......................600.00

We, the Ex-Servicemen Welfare Trust sincerely appeal to the MOD. CGDA and the Major Ex-Servicemen organizations like IESL, IESM and the Air Force Associations to view their case sympathetically as most of them are at the fag end of their life. There are only very few are alive and can be considered.

Dear veteran brothers, please have a Test check with any of the Ex-Gratia pensioners pass book credit entries and you will find the discrepancy. Kindly help them.
