FOUR MORE PENSIONERS BENEFITED

ANOTHER FOUR MORE PENSIONERS HELPED BY OUR TRUST.

1) Smt.Alwar Ammal w/o Late Narayanasamy , Nb.Sub Gp-'D' ( JC28465 ), PPO NO.F/NA/ 170/95 WAS DRAWING BASIC PENSION OF 3500/-only instead of Rs.4650/- w.e.f .1-1-2006 from Central Bank of India, Kovilpatti . This fact was noticed on our interaction with the pensioners during our visits. We contacted the Branch Manager , Mr.Paul and explained the discrepancy and he was helpful and arranged to revise and pay the arrears of Rs.63129/-immediately. Our Trust is thankful to him for his gesture of extending co-operation with us.

2) Ex.Hav.S.Subba Raj (14508435W)) , PPO.No.S/011924/91, a Disability pensioner is drawing his pension through Central Bank of India, Kovilpatti. There was discrepancy in payment of Disability pension and we explained the same to the Manager and he accepted our submission and arranged to set right the discrepancy and paid the arrears of Rs.33831/- for which act we sincerely expressed our gratitude to him.

3) Ex.Cpl.Balasubramaniam (246096) , PPO No.AF/D/RA/577/90 is drawing his pension through Indian Overseas Bank, Kalakad, Tirunelveli-Dist, TN. The Disability pension was not revised and a discrepancy in fixing the pre-revised Rate of disability element also. The same was explained to the Senior Manager, and he was kind enough to rectify the same and arranged to revise the Disability Element and pay the arrears of Rs.23364/- and our Trust is grateful to him.

4) Ex.Hony.Lt.Savarimuthu Amal Raj ( JC 748761 P), PPO.NO.S/042968/2001,.His pension was revised as per Annexure -1 of MOD letter dated 11-11-2008 as Rs.11865/-. But as per subsequent CDA Cir 403, he is eligible for a Basic Pension of Rs.13500/- w.e.f .1-1-2006. The discrepancy was informed to the Branch Manager, Canara Bank, Kayathar and he agreed TO OUR SUBMISSION and arranged to revise the pension and pay the arrears of Rs.91874/-
