Havildar visited our Trust and wanted to verify the correctness of his pension
. He felt that his counter parts are getting more pension.

On going through his
pension papers, we noticed that he was sanctioned with a basic pension of Rs.2588 on discharge. The bank has revised his pension
as Rs.3900/- as per CDA cir 397 and continuing the same till date.
His basic should have been
revised as 4090 from 1-1-2006 and Rs.5033 from 1-7-2009 as per CDA cir 430, but the PDA has not
revised so far.
We have now taken up the
case with the PDA and their CPPC at Chennai for immediate revision and payment
of arrears.
The aggrieved Havildar was
very happy and thanked us for this timely help.
We also advised him to
convert the existing Single account to Joint account with his wife.
