A convention of Ex-servicmen  of Tamil Nadu was held  on 18-12-2022   at  

ZION MATRIC HIGHER SECONDARY SCHOOL,  SELAIYUR, TAMBARAM..

A Large number of Ex-Servicemen from all the District of  Tamil Nadu  participated.

It was the first convention  ,

The chief Guest was  the Tamil Nadu  Minster for ESM Welfare  Thiru MEYYANATHAN ,

the first convention was very successful  .

 A massive  DHARNA  was held at Jantar Mandir on 14-11-2022  by our Ex-servicemen and families to express our   grievances to the Government,   Ex-Servicemen from  all over the county participated.

The Dharna  was well organised  and a peaceful protest and expression of our grievances.

ENHANCEMENT OF DEARNESS RELIEF TO EX-GRATIA PENSIONERS

 

The Dearness Relief to Ex-Gratia pensioners is Enhanced with effect from 01-07-2022   by 15%

i.e  for pensioners  from 381 to 396   and for Family pensioners  373 to 388 .

MONTH OF LIFE CERTIFICATE;

Dear Veterans and Families, 

VERY VERY IMPORTANT MESSAGE

 

The month of Life certificate has come

Those pensioners above 80 yrs of age can submit  Life certificate

from  01-10-2022    to   30-11-2022

Others  can submit from 01-11-2022  to 30-11-2022  to their respective Bank branches  as usual

Now, many accounts are Migrated to SPARSH, PCDA Allahabad

These  veterans have to submit Life certificate  to SPARSH directly  - online  through some  Common Service Centers, or Browsing centers or  through  some ESM  associations  by Login  with their Sparsh PPO numbers.  They can submit from now onwards, which will be valid for one year . But it is to be submitted  before 30-11-2022.

NOTE:   Here,   for Sparsh accounts, the Name,   DOB as mentioned in the PPO should be same  in AADHAR AND  ECHS .Otherwise , it will be rejected.

For Example:   Name in the PPO:  D MUTHUPANDIAN

In Aadhaar  it is  D MUTHU PANDIAN   OR  MUTHU PANDIAN D it is rejected , mismatching.  Same way it may be wrong in ECHS card also.

Correcting  in PPO is very lengthy procedure.

You can  correct the AADHAR  card  in SEVA centers with Proof of PPO or Authentication from a 1st class Gazette Officer.

All our veterans whose accounts are migrated to SPARSH are requested to check  all the 3 documents  PPO , AADHAAR CARDS, ECHS CARDS  for any variation. If there is any small variation, please  correct it immediately to avoid stoppage of pension  after  November 2022.

ATTENTION TO VETERAN BROTHERS SERIES -46

 

IMPORTANT MASSAGE  TO OUR VETERAN BROTHERS. 

         In the recent days, we have come across  problems of mismatching of Name and Date of birth of self as well as dependents.

Due  that, we get the AADHAR AND PAN CARDS  corrected.  But the correction is not intimated to  Banks  or  Record Offices.

Now our Pension Paper is Migrated to SARSH.   When we go for submission of LIFE CERTIFICATE  through DLC method, with  latest Aadhar card,  the system says, your AADHAR datas are not tallying, because the corrected Aadhar was not intimated.. Hence, Life certificate cannot be accepted. 

For such veterans, whose PPO already Migrated,  we have to give MLC manual Life certificate only, for that , we have to get a certificate / Attestation from a Gazetted Officer, then only we can upload.   THIS IS A PROBLEM faced by our veterans.

In view of the above,  all our Veterans whose PPO  not migrated to SPARSH yet, are requested to submit the corrected Aadhar/ PAN cars to their  bank branches for  Updating  afresh  and confirm,   also  send a corrected  Aadhar card to their respective  Record Offices immediately to avoid stoppage of pension.

The veterans whose PPO already migrated to SPARSH  are to send the corrected Aadhar/ PAN cards directly to Record office.

All our ESM Associations and senior veterans are requested to pass on this important  message to our veterans  in their areas.

PENSION PAPERS MIGRATED TO SPARSH FROM SBI

 

Dear Veteran brothers and  Family pensioners,  

MILITARY PENSIONERS DRAWING PENSION FROM SBI,

Please go through the following information and keep watching for SMS from PCDA ,Allahabad- SPARSH any time.

The  pension papers of Post 2016 retirees   are already Migrated   to  PCDA, Allahabad, SPARS.

Now, Pre-2016 pension papers are being Migrated from SBI  to SPARSH.

Many of our veterans  have received message from SBI that their papers are migrated to Sparsh.  Here after, our pension will be credited from Spars- Allahabad only. SBI-Cppc  has no roll to play.

As the PPOs are migrated to Sparsh now, there is a doubt that the pension for month of August  will be credited or Not.

On receipt of the Pension papers, the Sparsh will scrutinize the papers and send us  SMS stating that your paper is migrated to us  and we have generated your New PPO number  , User ID and pass word.     Please save the message   for LOGIN  to sparsh for further procedure.

 

On receipt of the User ID and  Password, we have to  Login to Sparsh web site,  create our own pass word and  submit fresh LIFE CERTIFICATE. 

After  receiving the Life certificate only,  Sparsh will initiate  our pension credit  to our existing bank account.

This process will take  some time, till such time, we may not get our pension,

All veterans and   family pensioners are to bear this hardship  for some time.

All are advised to keep a watch  on your mobile for SMS from SPARSH .

ONE MORE PRE-1986 VETERAN HELPED FOR ENDORSEMENT OF FAMILY PENSION

Receiving  Additional pension of 20%.  OK.  PDA: Indian Bank

By his appearance,   our Liaison officer, enquired about his age and Joint Notification.  Age, he told  90+, and  he had not applied for Joint Notification.

In his PPO, old type, name of his wife is there, hence part II order for marriage was published.

 Then we explained the importance of Joint Notification  and advised him to visit our Trust Office  along with all available Documents.

There was his Discharge Book of  Army only and the Old PPO, not  computerized PPO>

We prepared the  required  papers-  Appendix-A and Annexure II in Triplicate,  got his  and wife’s Signature.   We advised him to get attestation from his Banker, Indian Bank ,.   He got it done.

Then , we prepared an application  for Endorsement of Family pension,  and guided him to forward  the same to His Record Office, DSC, Cannanore through his Zilla Sainik Board , Tuticorin. 

The aged veteran was very happy with  all our action, and sincerely thanked us for this valuable  volunteer work. 

Our Trust is  very much happy in helping an Octogenarian  for publication of

The function was arranged by NELLAI JAWAN'S GROUP., presided over by our Asst.Manager, CSD Canteen, Vet.Hony.Capt. KS.Pandian.

All the participants were served with Breakfast and Tea.

The Aged  veterans above 80yrs of age  were honoured  by Shawl and a Memento.

The function concluded with a brief lecture by our  Canteen manager  Hony.Capt. KS>Pandian
