LEARNED VETERANS TO THINK AND DISCUSS

Dear Veteran brothers,

Please let us discuss the following points:

1  when a soldier dies in a war,  his wife is called as WAR WIDOW  and granted with Liberalised Family pension , i.e the last pay drawn as  pension for life.  It is OK-  F/ BC 

2.  When a soldier  severely injured in a War , loosing limbs  like Hands  legs or eyes in bomb blasts, not able to continue in service is boarded out with WIP,  war injury pension , 100% disability  -  D/BC.  Service  m element   and constant Attendance Allowance for a attender. 

When such category of veteran dies after few years,  his wife is granted with Ordinary Normal family pension. ( is it justifiable )      compare WAR WIDOW  and this type of widow.

3. When a soldier becomes disabled due to  some decease , worked in high altitude and so on, which is arrtibuted to service or Aggraved by service condition, or in an accident while on duty and dies while in service, his wife is granted with Special family pension,  F/123/2026.. If he dies after discharge, then,  only normal family pension.

4  When  a soldier  discharged after serving for full term and dies after few years, his wife is granted with Normal family pension.  It is OK

Now, dear brothers, please think over the cases.  In the first, the widow is called as WAR WIDOW  .  ok

In the 2nd case, it is almost same case of condition ,but the widow is called Normal family pensioner- Not reasonable . She may be considered for  better pension, Special  or Enhanced Rate  or  treating the term of tenure as full according to Ranks. 

In 3rd case, if the widow is sanctioned with Special Family pension in case of death while in service and normal pension on death after discharge from service.  It is OK.

Dear veteran brothers  please think over and  there is no difference  of family pension  except case No.1.    there has to be some  difference for different category of  Death and pensioners,  here there is no difference.  Poor widows are suffering , not knowing and not able fight for their rights. 

Please bring these points to authorities  in various  forums   when ever you get opportunity.-
