Hon'ble Veterans,
2. SPARSH was introduced for current retirees in phases: in October, 2020 for Defence Civilians; in February, 2021 for the Indian Air Force; in June, 2021 for the Indian Navy; and in August, 2021 for the Indian Army. All 'legacy' pensioners who had retired before these dates were migrated thereafter.
3. Fresh Retirees as Stated above or Post 2016 Retirees didn't face much Problems. The problems are coming up for Pre 2016 Retired only that too Pre 2006 Retirees.
4. I have even earlier mentioned, anything Related to SPARSH has to be Reported in SPARSH Portal itself. Pensioners are required to Correct the Data themselves. If the Pensioners are able to Correct the Data, Submit the Correction/ Update, the Service Request (SR) will be Auto generated. Till the time the previous SR is not Settled, Pensioners are being Debarred from Submitting the Fresh SR. Documents required to be Uploaded are shown & are mandatory to be uploaded before Submission.
5. In case the Pensioners are Not able to Correct the Data themselves in the Portal due to Field not Activated or Any technical reasons, Grievance is required to be lodged. Auto generated Request ID will be given for the same. The Fresh Grievance can always be lodged even if SR or other Grievances are yet to be Settled.
6. Wherever the Data is required to be Verified by Respective Record Offices, the same are transferred by SPARSH to them on the Portal itself. Thereafter the Pensioners are required to approach their Record Offices to expedite their cases. In such cases the SR/ Grievance is generally Closed in SPARSH Portal, though it is incorrect.
7. Once the Data is verified, the SPARSH Corr PPO is required to be Notified in certain cases, before Update/ Correction of Data in the SPARSH Portal is Done. Even if ePPOs were earlier Notified for the same.
8. Please don't approach the Record Offices directly for the Corrections without Registering your SR or Grievance in SPARSH Portal. They will not be entertained. Officers may however lodge the Grievance in AGRIM, giving Reference of Request ID provided in SPARSH Portal, to expedite their cases. Later to know the Status they may even Contact AGRIM Helpline in MP 5 (b) - 011 2675 7700.
9. There is no option available for the Pensioners, who are required to get the Data Corrected. Please have the Patience. The Delay is due to Procedure and lot of Pensioners in the Queue.
