RESTRUCTURING OF SPARSH SERVICE CENTERS (SSC s) at OUR DPDOS

 

RE-DESIGNATION  OF  OUR DPDOs

 

So far, our DPDOs were doing the pension Disbursing job.

Now, the DPDOs are  re-designated  as SPARSH  SERVICE CENTERS.

We have 64 DPDOs through out the country,

All the DPDOs  will act as SPARSH SERVICE CENTERS ( S S C ) hereafter.

 

The physical and Soft  records held with DPDOs  will continue to be held

 with  them  and maintained  under respective SSCs.

Payment of pension to pensioners will be continued by DPDOs (SSCs) as usual

 

This new arrangement  will come in to effect from 01-06-2024. 

In Tamil Nadu, we have 2 DPDOs (SSCs)  , one at  Teynampet, Chennai and

 the other at Vellore. 

All veterans are advised  to note this new arrangement and utilize the services

 through RE-DESIGNATED  DPDOs( S S Cs) for all queries  , Life certificate and

 DATA corrections etc.

DEFENCE SALARY PACKAGE (DSP) IN BANKS OTHER THAN SBI

 Dear Veteran brothers,

 

We all know that there a scheme   DSP  (Defence Salary Package )  and our existing pension account is

   converted in to  DSP account.

There are many  benefits  in the scheme   like accident coverage .

Now the same  scheme is introduced in other banks also.  Our veterans are not aware of this /

 

We are giving the name  of DSP a/c  in other Banks  for your information and knowledge.

 

Axis bank:     ULTIMA DEFENCE SALARY ACCOUNT   (Pension Salute)

 

Bank of India  :  JAI JAWAN SALARY PLUS

 

Bank of Baroda:   SALARY AND PENSION SALUTION

 

Canara Bank:   JEEVAN DHARA

 

Central Bank of India:   CENT PARAM

 

Indian Bank:  IB SALAM SPECIAL A/C  FOR DEFENCE

 

Punjab National Bank-(PNB)  : RAKSHAK PLUS SCHEME       

 

Please visit the website of individual   bank and     check up for this information. 

 

Dear veterans, please visit your Bank and  arrange to convert the existing pension account

to  DSP a/c   to avail the benefits  when contingency arises  

NOMINATION FOR LTA AFTER DEMISE OF PENSIONER

 

Dear Veteran Brothers,

 

There is provision for furnishing particulars  of Nominee  -Form –A  for LTA  in the Legacy  system.

Now, after Migration to SPARSH,   we have to again upload the  particulars  of Nominee  for LTA in our DATA.

For this, the Name of Nominee  for LTA is to be included in the Family details. i.e other than spouse.

If not added, please take initiative to include the name of Nominee for LTA .  there is 2nd option also like  alternative Nominee.

After including Name of Nominee in the family details,  you can go for   Nominee in the Data, There  ,

the system will ask for type of Nomination like normal or LTA.  You opt of LTA . then you give the particulars .

Then  It may ask for documents, like Aadhar/ Pan etc, Upload the same, then click   Add.

There will be another option , alternative nominee, you can give one more name  as 2^nd option

( which is like in the Form-A)

To avoid the hardship in settling the account after demise of a veteran,  all are requested to note

this procedure and  register nomination  without delay,.
